Fortunately, thanks to Yak Attack, we were able to capture the finish of the Volga River Expedition at the Caspian Sea. After 2130.09 miles and 59 days, West Hansen and Jeff Wueste are the first two solo kayakers to ever paddle the entire Volga River, Europe's longest river, from it's source to the sea.

This is the first descent of Europe’s longest river by kayak from the source in the Valdai Hills northwest of Moscow to the river’s delta at the Caspian Sea. The Volga traverses 2300 miles (3700 km) through western Russia’s most beautiful countryside with some of the richest history known to man.
